The CCSC 2026 will take place at the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften (BAdW) located in the heart of Munich, Germany.

The Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften (BAdW), founded in 1759, is one of the oldest and most prestigious academic institutions in Germany. Situated in the historic Munich Residence, it offers an inspiring setting for scientific exchange and collaboration.

Munich is a vibrant and cosmopolitan city with a dense network of research centers, startups, and global tech companies driving innovation across disciplines. It is home to several world-leading institutions, including the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and numerous Max Planck and Fraunhofer Institutes. Many renowned scientists, such as Max Planck, Werner Heisenberg, Justus von Liebig, Ernst O. Fischer, Carl von Linde, and others, conducted a significant portion of their scientific work in Munich. With its cultural depth and scientific vitality, Munich is the perfect backdrop for CCSC 2026.




Travel



The conference will be held at the Bayerische Akademie der Wissenschaften (BAdW) in the Munich Residenz.

The closest airports are Munich Int. Airport (MUC) and Frankfurt Int. Airport (FRA). There are numerous buses that lead to the conference venue, i.e. via Munich central station. From MUC, you can take tram S1 or S8 to reach Munich central station. From FRA, there are regular train connections with a total travel time of approximately 3.5 hours to reach Munich central station. From Munich central station you can take U4 (direction: Arabellapark) or U5 (direction: Neuperlach Süd). Ideal drop-off point is Odeonsplatz. The venue is located at Alfons-Goppel-Straße 11.
